Meeting Excursions

The technical excursion on 20 June will be centered on the wine production of Trentino, from the vineyard until the degustation.
We will visit the main areas of wine production in Trentino, the experimental farm of the Istituto agrario di S. Michele and CAVIT, one of the biggest winery in Italy. During the tour we will stop to see some interesting historical places, as Beseno Castle and Drena Castle. The dinner will be served in an historical building close to Toblino Lake.

The topics touched during the technical excursion will be again in the centre of our attention as during the week we will also visit the vineyards of the Institute and its old cellar (previously the cellar of the old Monastery, 1200 A.D.) and the modern "experimental" wine making laboratory under the expert guidance of our master oenologist. There will also be time for wine testing (with typical local wines, such as Teroldego Rotaliano), with the scope to learn about the cultivar specific wines, assemblages, uvaggi and much more.

The Meeting Gala Dinner will be in a unique and enchanting place near Trento.
