SUMMARY of the project
The system is intended to support the administration of human resources and researchers mobility in networks of research institutes and/or research and development companies. The system will allow personnel management, budget management and research activities (publication, meetings, courses) reports.
Recently, several institutions joint their efforts to foster research and to reduce the fragmentation. Several Networks of Excellence (NoE) have started in EU also thanks to the contribution of the 6th Framework Program. This new concept of working together in networks and the high mobility of researchers, even if very powerful, raises several new problems, like managing personal information and information about visas, job contacts, etc. A system that allows to manage a variety of information about employees, visiting researchers, PhD students, etc. (i.e. CV, expertise, certification, safety, health insurance, etc.) can be an useful tool for such organizations.
The aim of the project is to provide a tool for managing information on the people involved in the network and preparing the needed documents for their enrollment. The purpose of the project is to provide a tool that can easy adapted to other networks of research institutions or large integrated research projects involving partners of different countries. The software can be used by administrative department offices which are dealing with high mobility of employees to manage employee data and administrative forms.
