Brief description of the research project:
Study of semiochemicals involved in the intraspecific (pheromones) and interspecific (kairomones) communication of grape and codling moths.
Main used techniques:
Headspace extractions (SPME), GC-MS, GC-EAD, Wind tunnel, Field trapping trials
Future research development:
Host plant volatile compounds available in increasing the pheromone-based techniques for direct insect control
