Course: Statistics applied in agriculture (56 hours)

The course is hosted by the Istituto Agrario San Michele a/A.
Lessons will take place in the Information Laboratory with the following timetable: 9.00-12.00 e 13.00-17.00.

I section: 13-14 June 2005, 20-21 June 2005;
II section: 13 July 2005, 18-19-20 July 2005;

The course is intended to improve the knowledge of SafeCrop researchers, phD students, technician and administrative staff in regard of the statistic themes. Special focus will be given to the statistical analysis in agricultural research. The course is divided in diverse sections and it will be made by theoretical front lesson and discussion and solution of typical statistic cases furnished by the SafeCrop members. The first section will face the genal statistic themes and the parametric statistic. The second section, after the specific cases presentation, will face the non-parametric statistic.
