DAMI: Temporal Data Mining in Plant Pathology
Brief description of the research project:
Artificial Intelligence in Plant Pathology. Artificial Intelligence commonly used for Knowledge Based Systems. In this project we will use data mining techniques, especially temporal oriented as well as Temporal Reasoning to problems in Plant Pathology.

Future research development:
A novel temporal data mining technique for discovery of temporal knowledge.
Analysis of FireBlight positive examples:
FireBlight symptoms were found recently (2005) in Trentino (about a dozen). Analyzing the data related to the positive examples, as well as negaive examples can lead us to discover the knowledge of how the infection happens in Trentino.
Analysis of Viticulture diseases data:
Diseases in vineyards reduce the quality and yield of vineyards. Analysing the data can discover the knowledge which explains the evolution of a disease.
