Effect of Madex® (granulovirus) on Cydia pomonella egg laying on two apple varieties. Relationships with plant surface metabolites.

• Study on artificial substrates of the influence of Madex® treatment on leaf surface composition of two apple varieties and consequences on C. pomonella egg laying:
  • Effect of leaf surface composition of two apple tree varieties on C. pomonella egg laying.
  • Effect of chemical modifications of plant surface signals induced by Madex® on leaf surfaces of two apple tree varieties on C. pomonella egg laying.
  • Direct effects of Madex® and its formulation on C. pomonella egg laying on two apple tree varieties.
• Publications of the work carried out in orchard throughout two years and in laboratory. Two scientific ones, and for farmers in Italy and in France on the use of a granulovirus as biological control against larvae of C. pomonella.
